Street Photography Workshop
In addition, we have been lucky to be offered a full day workshop by Damien Demolder on Friday 27th September 2019 from 10am to 4pm. Damien usually charges £180 per person for these workshops; we have been offered the discounted price of £99. Places are available for 10-15 people on a first come, first served basis. The day will be held in Glasgow (meeting point to be confirmed). Damien describes the day as a Street Photography Workshop which is not a ‘photo walk’ but a day of proper learning. It is a practical, hands-on day to improve your street photography through seeing in new ways. Damien demonstrates a range of principles around using light, finding backgrounds and working in public areas, and then helps the group to find their way at their own pace. The workshop will end with a critique of the pictures of the day and a chat about what we have learned. It is a day suitable for all levels of experience, and is certain to change the way you see and shoot – no matter what subjects you are interested in. Cameras and lenses will be provided, together with a memory card which participants can take away; or you can use your own equipment.
