These are examples of Douglas's work which appeared in the viewfinder magazine. I seem to remember that the judges all had one thing in common; they had all tended to give Douglas low marks (just kidding!)
I have added some caption information for the benefit of the newer members and those with poor memories.
A selection of Judges who visited the club regularly
Another type of Judge technically known as a `Sheriff`
Malcolm Allan, The Perfect Gentleman
Tom Gorman, Onetime chairman of the Federation
Eddie Ronnie, a former industrial chemist and real photography expert
Maurice Dobson from Stirling, an AV enthusiast
Des McLaughlin had entertainment skills in addition to his photography
Another Shakespeare (but definitely NOT William!)
Sadly, Bill Southward (top left) passed on and Walter is not well enough to attend
the club now but the rest are still with us or have photographically outgrown us.
Douglas displayed amazing courage in cartooning these two sons of Blantyre! Have you seen the size of them?
