Using the Website
Configuring the display:
The site is configured to display on a monitor showing 1024 pixels horizontal resolution. If a page is displayed that does not fit your monitor then scroll bars will appear at the bottom and right side of the screen.
Using Internet Explorer as your browser may cause display difficulties such as failing to display up to date pages or wrong image sizes. If this is the case right click on a blank area of the page and click `refresh'
If a page does not appear to be displaying correctly, right click on a space on the page which has no content and click on `refresh' or `reload' depending on which browser you are using. If the Webmaster has updated a page this may also be necessary the first time you visit it.
Downloading and installing the free `Firefox' browser fixes a lot of the problems encountered with Internet Explorer.
Viewing Image Galleries:
The montage of images which appears when you visit a gallery contains small or `thumbnail' versions of each photograph. Click on any image to enlarge it.
If the image is a panorama (shown as a very wide thumbnail) you may find that when you click on it it displays full screen or you may find that it only occupies the top half of the space approximately. If you place the mouse on this image a small magnifying glass with a + sign on it will appear. Click on the image and it will enlarge to full size. To view the entire panorama use either the right and left arrow keys on your keyboard or, for better control, use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars to move the image if they are visible.
