take place on 10th October at

is a very nice comfortable venue within easy to reach of the M74
and
has plenty of parking.
No
food is available at this venue, but you are welcome to bring along a packed
lunch and consume it on the premises.
As
always this will be a super day with lots of info and entertainment

A Scotsman living in England, he is a member of Saltburn P. S. also a member
of North Yorkshire & Durham P. S. AV group. Has been involved in the
production of AV’s for over 25yrs. obviously from the days of slides.
Converting to computer & digital projection in 2003. His
presentation for the above AV day is titled
“From Idea to AV”
He
is the founder member of the Northern AV Portfolio Group, which you will find
out more about it on the day.
DAVID PICKFORD (ARPS. DPAGB-AV) A Englishman living in Scotland, he is a member of Donside C. C. Over the years he has swapped between super 8 cine and slides. Has produced AV’s working with slide & tape, and then moving on into Digital. His presentation will be preparing/testing AV images with P/shop layers. Titles & layers assessed for registration & quality of dissolve, prior to assembly in Pic to Exe. Also showing some of his own AV sequences.

You will have the opportunity to show your latest
digital creation using Pic to Exe or Proshow Gold before an appreciative
audience, and receive constructive criticism from our two visiting experts.

You
cannot fail to take something away from this, with lots of information being
imparted, and the ‘wall to wall’ sequences throughout the day, giving you
plenty of idea’s.
