Thank
you for showing interest in the Hamilton Camera Club website. Everything
you want to know about the Club is only a few clicks away.
Hamilton
Camera Club is for everyone with an interest in photography irrespective
of skill level and camera. There is a varied programme of events so that
every evening offers something to interest everyone: talks,
competitions, audio-visual presentations, lectures, workshops, practical
nights, exhibitions and instructional classes for beginners. Look over
the syllabus for details of what is on when. In addition, outings are
arranged during the season to places that afford photographic
opportunities. These take place according to demand at the time so no
advance details are available.
The
Club meets every Thursday evening at 7.30pm from the first Thursday in
September until the end of May . Meetings are in the halls of Hamilton
Old Parish Church located in Strathmore Road off Leechlee Road. Limited
car parking is available in the grounds of the Hall but other free on-street parking is available in Strathmore Road
and Cadzow Street, both within a couple of minutes walk from the hall.
You
can join any time during the season; the evenings are all self contained
unlike formal classes where the lessons are progressive. All are welcome
to come along and take in a few presentations before deciding whether or
nor to join. There are concessions for those starting late in the
season.
